Jon Shilling has a passion for helping people maximize their overall life experience. A firm believer that happiness is a “state of doing,” Jon enjoys sharing his active sober lifestyle with others. Having participated in surfing and golf on a competitive level, he loves seeing individuals challenge themselves and accomplish their goals. He worked extensively with the rehabilitation centers in Bali and knows firsthand what type of support and guidance is key in maintaining long term sobriety. His decision to open a sober living home emerged organically after people he met in the rehabilitation centers, and in the community, needed a safe place to continue their recovery.
Jon earned a degree in sports medicine from the university of Hawaii in 2005 and later on became a certified yoga instructor. Bali is the best place in the world to have a real transformation of lifestyle and spirit. The year round sunny weather, beautiful beaches, and stunning mountains provide inhabitants with endless amounts of outdoor activities. 90% of the time you can find Jon in the water (the blue stuff), or on the golf course (the green stuff).
Jon’s involvement in alcohol recovery spans over a decade. Having battled the disease of alcoholism for years in his early youth, he was blessed to been have shown a solution to the problem.
